Senior Full Stack Developer (Future CTO Track) – Next.js, Tailwind, MongoDB

We’re hiring a fast, clean full-stack developer. You’ll work directly on our platform—an artist marketplace with 975+ active users—built on Next.js, Tailwind, Vercel, React, MongoDB and Cloudinary. This role is not for someone learning on the job. You’ll be taking a nearly completed product and delivering the remaining 10% with precision, quality, and urgency. IMPORTANT: You must already be using AI-accelerated coding tools like Cursor, Windsurf, or equivalent. If you are not integrating AI into your dev workflow for speed and code quality, do not apply. DO NOT CONTACT ME OUTSIDE OF UPWORK --- Tech Stack * Frontend: Next.js, React, TailwindCSS, Framer Motion, Webflow * Backend: MongoDB, Vercel KV * Dev Tools: Retool, MailerSend, Cloudinary, Sentry, GitHub * APIs: OpenAI, Mixpanel, Google Maps, Mapbox * Build/Infra: Vercel, Yarn, TypeScript, Husky, ESLint, Prettier * AI-Assist: CodeRabbit, Greptile, AI IDEs required (Cursor/Windsurf/etc.) --- Your Responsibilities * Refactor and clean up page layouts * Fully remove Material UI from the codebase * Finalize user workflows for project submissions, account/profile updates * Add email workflows via MailerSend triggers/templates * Improve admin tooling and dashboards using Retool * Monitor app stability via Sentry and address bugs * Interface with Webflow frontend where needed * Ensure fully responsive, visually clean layouts with semantic spacing * Submit PRs daily with visible progress Notes: * We just moved our media assets over from AWS S3 to Cloudinary * We also just moved our auth from Supabase to Cognito --- Expectations * You move with urgency: full completion target is 14–21 days * You’re comfortable working solo inside an existing codebase * You maintain precision and spacing without needing visual QA to babysit you * You are ready to build immediately — not "ramping up" * You ship fast, clean, stable code and iterate quickly --- Must-Haves * Advanced experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS * Strong eye for spacing, layout, responsiveness, and UX clarity * Deep familiarity with full-stack apps and product design thinking * You actively use AI IDEs like Cursor or Windsurf every day * You are comfortable with MongoDB and state management - SWR --- Nice to Have * Experience designing for or building SaaS marketplaces * Experience replacing legacy UI frameworks (like MUI) with clean Tailwind design --- To Apply (DO NOT SUBMIT GENERIC COVER LETTERS) Only include the following in your response: 1.
