For one of our YouTube series, we’re sharing real catfishing stories — the kind that go far beyond a few white lies. These are the stories that expose how emotionally and sometimes physically dangerous online deception can be. This isn’t about being disappointed when someone looked a little different than expected. We’re talking about truly shocking, manipulative, or disturbing experiences. If it felt like something out of a documentary or a true crime show, we want to hear about it. What You Get: ✅ $100 to record and share your story on video. ✅ The opportunity to help others recognize red flags and protect themselves. ✅ A platform to tell your truth and expose the dangers of catfishing. Requirements: • Have a filming space with good lighting, avoiding backlighting. • Shoot in horizontal mode and position yourself at a slight distance from the camera to allow for flexible cropping. Self-shot on your phone is fine. • Ensure your audio is clear and free from background noise or distractions. • Provide the raw, unedited footage, as we’ll handle the editing. • Be willing to sign a photo/video release form that will be sent at the start of the contract.
