Stamped Foundation and SIPs drawings for house
We have designed a custom house, and the county (Madison Co, AL) is requiring additional review and stamping, for the foundation and for the panel-construction we are using with EcoPanels of Tennessee (www.ecopanelsofTN.com). - Foundation has been laid out with beam design from lumber company: beams have been evaluated, but the block/footer foundation needs stamped - SIPs like EcoPanels have been included in code for structures up to 40' wide. My house is an L-shape, cut out of a 60x60 square, so the inspector is interpreting it as not covered. EcoPanels has provided information about their panels, so I figure a simple analysis about how they act as a system for this layout would suffice.
