About the Role We’re seeking a hands-on CEO with proven success in the remittance, fintech, or financial inclusion space — someone who’s operated at a Level 4 or Level 5 leadership tier (Jim Collins framework), capable of scaling a high-impact fintech product from early-stage MVP to mass-market adoption. You’ll be responsible for: Owning company strategy: Defining, refining, and executing Teku’s vision, mission, and long-term goals Driving growth: Leading product-market fit refinement, go-to-market execution, and customer acquisition Team building & leadership: Recruiting and managing cross-functional teams, including product, tech, operations, and compliance Regulatory & partnership development: Navigating cross-border remittance compliance and forming key banking/fintech alliances Product oversight: Working with designers, engineers, and data teams to ensure Teku delivers best-in-class UX for our immigrant audience Ideal Background 5–10+ years leadership in remittance, neobank, or mobile wallet ecosystems Strong track record in cross-border payments or financial inclusion (U.S.–LatAm corridor is a big plus) Experience working in or with early-stage startups — ideally as a founder, co-founder, or executive Deep understanding of compliance, licensing, and money transmission regulations (MTOs, MSBs) Network of fintech or remittance contacts in the U.S. and/or Latin America Bilingual in Spanish/English is a major plus Passion for mission-driven work and improving immigrant lives Why Join Teku?
