We are seeking a U.S.-based Salesforce developer or integration engineer with hands-on experience working in Salesforce Government Cloud (GovCloud) environments. This role involves securely integrating our SaaS platform with Salesforce GovCloud using API-based service account architecture, in compliance with FedRAMP Moderate, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST-SP 800:171. You will be responsible for standing up the integration layer, including authentication, data transfer logic, token security, and compliance-aligned access patterns — while coordinating with an offshore development team responsible for the non-CUI components of the system. Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) and legally eligible to access FedRAMP Moderate environments such as Salesforce GovCloud. Experience working in government-regulated or CUI-handling systems is required. Responsibilities: Register and configure a Salesforce Connected App in GovCloud for API access Set up and secure OAuth2 flow using a non-interactive service account Define and configure custom Salesforce objects to match our data model Build or assist with backend API logic for: Submitting CUI records (budgeting, win themes, etc.) Retrieving CUI on demand for secure frontend rendering Implement secure token storage and rotation using AWS Secrets Manager (or equivalent) Collaborate with offshore development team to hand off secure endpoints Provide input to the System Security Plan (SSP) and other compliance documentation as needed Required Skills: Demonstrated experience with Salesforce GovCloud or Salesforce Government Cloud Plus Proficiency with OAuth2, Connected Apps, and REST API integration Experience with backend languages like Python, Node.js, or Java (integration layer only) Familiarity with NIST SP-800:171, FedRAMP Moderate, or DFARS 7012 Strong understanding of CUI handling boundaries, including in-memory rendering, secure session management, and log sanitization Must be comfortable working with both frontend and backend engineers in a distributed team Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience integrating Salesforce GovCloud with custom SaaS platforms Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, Secrets Manager, or secure infrastructure patterns Experience supporting compliance documentation (SSP, POA&M, audit readiness) Active or previous security clearance is a plus, but not required
