About Us Battle Creek Games creates thrilling racing experiences that captivate millions of players through our drag racing and off-road gaming portfolio. We're seeking a Graphic Designer who can bridge the worlds of game engine expertise and graphic design to create compelling visual marketing collateral that showcases our games at their absolute best. The Role As our Graphic Designer you'll be responsible for creating high-impact advertising graphics by combining your ability to set up an in-game scene with strong photo editing & video design capabilities. You'll work closely with our Art Director to develop concepts that capture the excitement of our games while driving user acquisition through various ad platforms. Key Responsibilities - Conduct regular competitive research of racing game advertisements and app store listings across major platforms to identify successful trends, creative approaches, and user engagement patterns - Utilize Unity to capture dynamic in-game footage, including setting up custom camera angles, lighting, and scene composition - Create ASO (App Store Optimization) creatives (icons, feature images, screenshots, event graphics) for the Apple and Google app stores - featuring gameplay footage with professional edits to improve quality, texture overlays, and calls-to-action - Work with the Art Director to implement creative concepts and maintain consistent brand quality - Edit and produce videos with attention to pacing, visual effects, and advertising best practices - Develop multiple variations of ads to enable performance testing (iteration & merge of the current top working creatives) - Maintain a rapid production pace while ensuring high quality standards Required Technical Skills - Proven experience with the Unity game engine, particularly camera work and scene setup - Strong image editing proficiency (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Figma or similar) - Experience with video design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus. - Understanding of image compression and delivery specifications for various app stores Required Creative Skills - Strong eye for composition and dynamic camera angles - Ability to tell compelling stories in 3-5 screenshots - Understanding of what drives user engagement in mobile game marketing Experience - Demonstrated portfolio of professionally edited photos & video designs - Mobile gaming industry experience nice to have Collaboration - Partner with Art Director on creative direction and new video & image concepts - Work with marketing team to understand performance metrics and optimize content - Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively Why Join Us? - Opportunity to shape our app store optimization strategy - Work with cutting-edge racing games - Remote-friendly environment - Direct impact on company growth through user acquisition If you're equally comfortable setting up the perfect camera angle in Unity and crafting engaging screenshot edits, we want to hear from you.
