Job Type: Freelance / Contract Ongoing, long-term partnership preferred Location: Three schools in Phoenix, one in Glendale Must be local or able to travel to each location About the Role: We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly reliable photographer/videographer to create social media content for four preschool locations in the Phoenix and Glendale areas. The ideal candidate has experience working around young children, understands how to capture authentic moments in early education settings, and is comfortable shooting both photo and vertical video for social platforms. Key Responsibilities: Visit each preschool (monthly or bi-monthly) to capture content Photograph classroom moments, learning activities, outdoor play, and special events Shoot and edit short-form vertical videos for Instagram Reels and Stories Collaborate with our marketing team to align content with monthly themes or campaigns Deliver edited content within an agreed turnaround time (ideally within 5–7 days) Professional Expectations: Maintain a clean, professional appearance appropriate for a school setting Communicate and interact in a respectful, family-friendly manner at all times Must be drug-free and refrain from smoking or vaping on or near school property Must adhere to all school safety protocols, including background checks and health guidelines Demonstrate professionalism and discretion while working around children, families, and staff Required Qualifications: Proven experience photographing and filming young children Ability to direct and interact with preschool-age children in a safe, gentle, and engaging way Portfolio that includes social media-focused content (Instagram, Facebook) Proficiency in photo and video editing Must pass a background check Strong understanding of child safety and privacy practices in school settings Preferred Qualities: Kind, calm, and friendly personality Excellent communication and time management skills Flexible schedule and reliable transportation Interest in long-term partnership and consistency of brand storytelling To Apply: Please submit: Your portfolio or sample work (social media-focused preferred) A short introduction about your experience with children and content creation Your availability and rate or package options (half-day and ongoing work preferred) We are excited to find the right creative partner to help visually tell the story of our joyful, hands-on learning environments.
