We are seeking a freelancer to complete a project in a short timeframe of 3 weeks, including communication efforts to clarify and test the solution. Collect and decrypt RF data from a Neptune R900i water meter. Software-defined radio (SDR) seems to be the tool of choice. Store this limited data in a database on Raspberry Pi, then transmit via USB-RS485 to an AcquiSuite A8810. Review this video for a demonstration of how to capture signals using SDR including the RF signal broadcast by the Neptune meter. https://youtu.be/Mhrfd6ujrzc?t=862 We provide you with this equipment: Raspberry Pi, AcquiSuite A8810, USB-RS485 converter, Neptune R900i register and antenna, brass water meter fitting.
