Job Description: We’re a boutique course creation and coaching business in the personal development/personality space seeking an experienced and detail-oriented course migration specialist to help us transition our extensive library of online courses (60+ hours of content) from Thinkific to Passion.io. We have an extensive catalog of courses and an existing base of paying subscribers who need to be onboarded seamlessly to the new platform without losing access or having to pay again. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online course platform migration, data management, and customer account setup. Experience with both Thinkific and Passion.io (or similar course platforms) is essential. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Export and Organize Course Data: • Export existing course content, student data, and subscription details from Thinkific. • Ensure all course structures (modules, lessons, quizzes, attachments) are properly backed up and ready for migration. Set Up Course Content in Passion.io: • Rebuild course structures in Passion.io while maintaining existing organization and user experience. • Ensure all embedded media, links, and files are properly transferred and functional. • Verify that all course progress and completion tracking features are set up correctly. Migrate Customer Accounts: • Import existing customer data (names, emails, purchase history) into Passion.io. • Ensure that existing paying customers retain access without needing to pay again. • Configure hidden access or discount codes for existing subscribers where necessary. Payment and Subscription Management: • Ensure that any existing subscriptions set up through Stripe or PayPal are properly managed. • Troubleshoot any payment-related issues during migration. Test and Troubleshoot: • Conduct a thorough quality check after migration to ensure all content, user data, and payment systems are functioning correctly. • Test the onboarding process for existing users to ensure a smooth transition. • Provide support to address any user issues post-migration. ⸻ Skills and Experience: ✔️ Proven experience with Thinkific and Passion.io (or similar platforms like Kajabi, Teachable, etc.) ✔️ Experience in course migration and customer account transfers ✔️ Strong technical proficiency with data exports, imports, and payment system configuration (Stripe, PayPal) ✔️ Detail-oriented and highly organized ✔️ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently ✔️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical processes clearly Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with large-scale course libraries (100+ modules/lessons) - Experience setting up subscription-based services and handling recurring payments -Familiarity with customer support systems Project Scope and Timeline: • Estimated project duration: 4–6 weeks • Flexible work hours, but availability for regular check-ins is required • Potential for ongoing work to help manage and maintain the platform after migration How to Apply: We'd love to hear from you if you’re confident you can execute this migration with precision and care!
