I run a Shopify website that sells both digital vendor links (like an AirPods supplier) and physical products sourced from those vendors. I want to build a system where, when a customer purchases a specific vendor, they automatically unlock the ability to buy the matching physical product. For example, if someone buys the AirPods vendor link, they should then be able to purchase the physical AirPods product — but only that one. All other physical products should remain visible on the site, but not clickable or purchasable unless the matching vendor link has been bought. It's important that this works dynamically and is tied to the customer’s account, so only people who have actually made the correct purchase get access. If someone tries to access a product page directly (via shared URL or otherwise), and they haven’t purchased the required vendor link, they should be blocked from buying — either with a lock message or a redirect. I also want this to be automated — once a digital product is purchased, the correct physical product should automatically become accessible without manual tagging or admin approval. Visually, locked products should still appear in the store, but with a clear overlay or indicator that they’re unavailable until unlocked. The unlocked ones should look really cool. I haven’t incorporated the physical products tab into the site yet, so that part still needs to be built out as part of this system. The tab with the vendor links and physical product should be separate. The Shopify store is already built, and I’m looking for someone who can implement this new feature into the existing setup — not start from scratch. I had someone previously build the current version, and I don't think he did the greatest job. I want you to make necessary adjustments or improvements to optimize the site overall. Like visual aspects, animations, etc. I want the site to feel more professional.
