We are seeking a detail-oriented Photoshop expert to help tidy and straighten a collection of scanned images from rare magazines. Due to the nature of the magazines, many images appear skewed or angled as the spines have caused warping. Your task will be to digitally correct the alignment of each image, ensuring that text and visuals appear flat, straight, and clear—without distorting or compromising the integrity of the original materials. What You’ll Be Doing: - Straightening and flattening each image using Photoshop or similar tools - Enhancing overall clarity and legibility of text and visuals - Tidying up any visible scanning imperfections (e.g. shadows, spine curves) - Ensuring consistency across all images for a polished, professional finish Requirements: - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop - Experience in image correction, especially with scanned documents or books - Strong attention to detail - Ability to maintain the authenticity of vintage or rare imagery Nice to Have: - Familiarity with archiving or working with rare print materials - Previous Upwork projects with positive feedback in photo editing or restoration Additional Info: - The total number of images is roughly 200, with some requiring minimal work. - We’ll share a sample image before hiring to see how you’d approach it. - Certain images, if you require better photos then we can discuss during the project.
