As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for editing, refining, and ensuring the accuracy of educational materials across multiple subjects. You will work closely with curriculum developers and subject matter experts to maintain high standards of clarity, consistency, and engagement in our materials. Key Responsibilities --Edit and refine workbooks, course readers, and exams to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with educational standards. --Ensure accessibility by simplifying complex language while maintaining academic rigor. --Review and edit assessment materials, ensuring fair and well-structured questions that align with learning objectives. --Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and style across materials. --Work collaboratively with our instructional designers and editors to enhance content quality. --Fact-check and verify content for accuracy, ensuring instructional integrity. --Ensure adherence to company style guides, checklists, and editorial best practices. What We’re Looking For --Strong editorial background with experience in academic or educational publishing. --Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in content, formatting, and instructional design. --Ability to simplify complex concepts while maintaining accuracy and engagement. --Familiarity with curriculum development and learning standards (Common Core, NGSS, or other relevant frameworks). --Experience editing assessments, workbooks, or instructional texts. --Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback. --Proficiency in Google Docs.
