CONSULTING ROLE DESCRIPTION The role of Marketing Consultant, Strategy within Brand Development reports directly to the Head of Strategy at Arax Investment Partners, a financial services holding company. This role will also have a dotted line to other key leaders on the Brand Development team and to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of Arax. The Arax team serves stakeholders at three partner wealth management verticals across the Arax ecosystem, Arax Advisory Partners (~$4B AUM), Ashton Thomas Private Wealth (~$9B AUM and AUA), and U.S. Capital Wealth (~$9B AUM and AUA). The Brand Development team functions as a branding, marketing, and communications agency delivering digital marketing, content, creative, brand strategy, and related solutions to the three verticals and to financial advisors within those verticals. The position can be in-office in Scottsdale, Arizona, hybrid, or remote depending on candidate’s location. The particular responsibilities of the Marketing Consultant (Senior Consultant), Strategy role are: - Organic Growth Content and Programming o Serve as an integral part of the team that is focused on moving the organization toward targeted growth objectives o Assist the Brand Development team with organic growth campaign development and deployment for partner firms and advisors o At the direction of the Head of Strategy, write and produce focused content for organic growth programming across our ecosystem o Collaborate with Creative and Digital verticals to deploy organic growth digital and print content o Assist with program launch coordination, implementation, and tracking o Keep program materials up-to-date and in line with regulatory requirements, as well as industry best practices o Support the Head of Strategy in interacting with advisors to implement organic growth initiatives - Business Development Content o Assist the CGO and Director with Arax business development content and programming aimed at inorganic growth o Help write and produce focused content for inorganic growth initiatives o Interface with the Creative and Digital verticals within Brand Development to craft and deploy digital and print content focused on driving organic growth o Help maintain and update static content for these websites o Coordinate with Design function and third-party vendors on graphic design and layout needs - Growth Event Support o Assist Arax in creating programmatic growth-oriented events for firms and advisors to deploy on their own or with the assistance of our event planning vendor o Oversee event program deployment, interfacing with key resources and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency in program execution o Measure organic growth event results, working with Head of Strategy to refine and improve events that drive growth - Drive Growth Initiative SEO o Interface with Digital vertical to ensure all organic and inorganic growth initiatives translate to meaningful SEO content across Arax firm websites and digital content platforms - General Role Functions o Interface with stakeholders and vendors as directed by Head of Strategy o Interact with and update Monday.com project management system regularly and consistently as directed by Operations Manager o Coordinate directly with interested stakeholders, to include Arax leadership, operating firm leadership, and content creators, as directed by Head of Strategy o Maintain adherence to brand standards o Uphold Brand Development KPIs Key Success Factors: - Stays informed about best practices and industry trends for organic and inorganic growth marketing - Constantly strives to better understand Arax target audiences (advisors and clients) and how to effectively reach them - Demonstrates professional and functional maturity, creating confidence among colleagues and stakeholders - Adept and written and visual communication methods for various audiences - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously on a daily basis, ensuring commitment to quality and timeliness for each - Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools, especially in terms of content development and deployment - Multifaceted team player with a “can-do” attitude and an ability to proactively contribute or willingly respond as required This is a mission-critical role that plays a key part in developing visible content for this rapidly growing, national wealth management ecosystem. Professionalism, commitment to follow-through, and attention to detail are crucial for success. Must be well organized with an ability to deliver consistent quality in a timely manner. Exceptional writing skills required. Strong interpersonal communication skills are helpful for success in this role. Digital marketing and content writing experience are both required. Experience with event marketing strongly preferred. Working knowledge of SEO and marketing analytics would be helpful. Knowledge of financial services and/or wealth management (or a similarly regulated industry) preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of organic marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or similar experience strongly preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a good reputation within the industry and community. KEY SKILLS • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred • Omnichannel marketing and/or CMS platform experience required • Experience in both B2B and B2C digital marketing preferred • SEO experience preferred • Must be a “super user” of Microsoft office, particularly PowerPoint • Experience with Adobe InDesign would be a big plus • Canva experience would be helpful • Monday.com or a similar project management platform experience helpful, but not required • Superb written communication skills required • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Attention to detail necessary
