Job Title: Detail-Oriented Marketing & Social Media VA for Ongoing Client Projects (Semrush, Content, Blog2Social) Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Virtual Assistant to manage a variety of marketing and social media tasks. This role involves executing a structured two-phase process for multiple client projects each month. We are looking for a reliable partner to deliver consistent, high-quality work for our growing client base. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Semrush, Excel, AI content tools, social media management (particularly with Blog2Social), and possess a keen eye for detail. Phase 1: Research & Analysis (Initial phase for each new client project) For each new client, you will be responsible for the following research and setup tasks: Competitor Website Analysis (Semrush): Review a client-provided list of competitors. Utilize Semrush to conduct a thorough evaluation of each competitor's website, focusing on: overall traffic, top keywords, backlink profiles, keyword rankings, and paid advertising programs (PPC, display ads, etc.). Export review data for each site as CSV and PDF files. Compile the CSV data into a master Excel spreadsheet, creating a comparative analysis that includes the client's website alongside their competitors. Social Media Platform Evaluation: Using the same list of domains (client and competitors), analyze their presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. Identify and document: number of followers/subscribers, frequency of posts, common types of content posted, and any observable social media advertising efforts. Social Media Group Identification: Leverage keywords identified during the Semrush research. Search for relevant groups on Facebook and LinkedIn. Capture and document: group name, group description, number of members, and the typical frequency of posts within each group. Phase 2: Content Implementation & Distribution (Ongoing tasks for each client project) Following the initial research phase, you will move into production tasks for that client: AI-Assisted Article Generation: Utilize AI tools to generate 16 unique articles, each approximately 250 words in length. Develop prompts based on the client's name, services, and key differentiators (as identified against competitors). Ensure articles are written in a friendly, conversational tone, free from jargon and political opinion. Social Media Profile Creation & Setup: Create and/or optimize client profiles on the following social networks using Blog2Social as the master dashboard: Social Media Group Integration: Once client social media profiles are established and synced within the Blog2Social dashboard, join the relevant Facebook and LinkedIn groups identified in Phase 1. Configure Blog2Social to enable posting to these groups. Blog Post Creation & Image Sourcing: Post the 16 generated articles to the client's website. For each article, search Envato (or a similar stock image platform we provide access to) for a suitable featured image that corresponds with the article's subject matter. Content Scheduling (Blog2Social): Open Blog2Social and schedule the 16 articles for weekly publication. Distribute one article per week for 16 weeks, confirming the specific posting date and time for each selected social network and group. Requirements: Essential: Proven experience with Semrush for website and competitor analysis. Essential: Proficiency with Blog2Social for social media management and scheduling. Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for data compilation and comparison. Familiarity with AI content generation tools and an understanding of how to craft effective prompts. Demonstrable experience managing and creating content for a wide range of social media platforms (please specify which ones you have the most experience with from the list above). Experience sourcing and selecting appropriate images from platforms like Envato. Excellent command of the English language with strong writing skills (clear, conversational, jargon-free). Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow structured processes meticulously. Proactive and able to work independently. Reliable internet connection.
