Title: Grant Writer Needed: Secure Funding for Queer & Trans BIPOC Housing Collective Description: We are Fancy House, a nonprofit cooperative home and housing hub for Black and Indigenous queer & trans people in West Philly. We are seeking a grant writer and researcher who can help us secure critical funding to maintain and grow our work. We need someone to: Research and identify relevant grants for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC-led, and housing justice organizations Manage a database of opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements Write compelling grant proposals that reflect our values, mission, and community impact Collaborate closely with members to gather necessary documentation Help us build a sustainable grant-seeking process moving forward Ideal Candidate: Demonstrated success in writing and winning grants for nonprofits (especially grassroots or BIPOC-led orgs) Experienced in finding and applying for both private and public grants Understands cooperative housing, mutual aid, and radical community building Deeply values anti-oppressive and anti-capitalist frameworks Bonus if you: Can assist with impact reporting or donor communications Have knowledge of Pennsylvania-based or Philadelphia-specific grants
