Our current platform is a local streaming tv station that was built in WordPress. The site has been active for around three years now and has had decent success. We are now rebranding and redeveloping this site, which will add a huge lineup of new features. We are also moving off of WordPress and building the site custom from scratch using Bootstrap and our own VPN and video CDN. The major addition is the ability for Creators to create their own account with the ability to upload their own long-form content on their own channels. Similar to a creator's experience on YouTube with the ability to upload OnDemand content, shorts, pay-per-view content, and we have built our own live streaming interface on our own server as well. There are no third-party integrations. The viewers experience is similar to Netflix, Hulu, or Apple TV allowing them to manage their own account, have multiple profiles, parental controls, manage their payment methods, etc. We are building all new engagement tools like comments, likes, reviews, tipping, etc. We are also including logic like continue watching, recommendations, top content, etc. Additionally, we are building our own custom VAST Ad management interface to control advertising in all live and on-demand content on the platform, which will include an advertiser self-service portal and a creator portal. The platform also has a shopping (eCommerce) feature allowing creators to have their own store on their channel, and a platform store that displays all products from all creator stores. There are countless other bells and whistles built into the site to make this the most robust and unique local streaming platform available today. Creators will be able to make money and get payouts from the platform through Ads on their content, their Pay-Per-View videos, viewer tips, and their store. Our current lead developer has built the site to approximately 60%-70% completion. Most of the major logic and functions have been completed. There are some smaller functions that still need to be built, API integrations for Stripe payments and Stripe Connect along with the eCommerce store. So, we are looking for a junior developer with the ability to complete the logic and development of these smaller elements, but also to assist primarily in the final design and layout on the frontend. With the help of this new developer, we anticipate the project to be complete in approximately 3-4 weeks. This developer will take daily instruction and direction from our lead developer, and will work closely with both the lead developer and our CEO for design and layout. While this project is short-term, lasting until the completion and launch of the platform, there are long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
