Project Overview We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive consultant to help Zschool: Identify, vet, and manage lobbying firms (and individual lobbyists) across multiple states. Research and compile all major grant-application deadlines for frontline workforce programs (police, fire/EMS, social workers, schools, corrections) in 30 states. This is a project-based engagement, paid on outcomes, with clear milestones and deliverables. Responsibilities Lobbying-Firm Coordination Research and recommend 1–2 qualified lobbying firms (or individual lobbyists) in each target state. Prepare a comparative summary of firm profiles, fees, and track records. Coordinate introductory calls and negotiate terms of engagement. Serve as the primary point of contact: track deliverables, manage invoices, and monitor lobbying activity. Grant-Deadline Research For each of 30 states, identify all relevant state-level and major county-level grant programs supporting police, fire/EMS, correctional officers, school districts, and social workers.
