Title: Fundraising Strategist for Queer & Trans, BIPOC Housing Collective in West Philly Description: We are Fancy House, a Black- and Indigenous-led queer & trans affordable housing collective based in West Philadelphia. Our space offers both collective living and affordable apartments to BIPOC LGBTQIA+ folks navigating housing insecurity. We’re seeking an experienced fundraising strategist or campaign developer to: Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising campaign Build a donor engagement strategy rooted in social and economic justice Help us meet immediate financial needs and sustain long-term housing for queer BIPOC residents Collaborate with residents to ensure the campaign reflects our values and lived experiences Provide structure and tools (email campaigns, social media templates, donor lists, etc.) Ideal Candidate: Proven experience creating and running grassroots or community-centered fundraising campaigns Familiar with issues of gentrification, mutual aid, and housing justice Comfortable working remotely with a small team of queer, mostly trans Black organizers Shares our values of anti-racism, anti-capitalism, and collective care Bonus if you: Have connections to radical funding networks Have worked with QT/BIPOC cooperatives or collectives Project Scope: Initial strategy & implementation over 2–3 months, with possibility for longer-term collaboration.
