This job is a unique opportunity to work online 1:1 with a college student majoring in Spanish. This student needs help building their Spanish writing skills as they have never had to write at the college level in Spanish using proper grammar and formal Spanish diction. What you should know about this student: -This student is driven and motivated to succeed. He doesn't like tutors who take it easy on him or try to do the work for him. -This student has learning differences that affect their attention and processing of information, so they will need someone who is both patient and understanding of their learning differences. -This student loves baseball, hiking, and learning, and is kind, caring, and empathetic. Desired Qualifications: -Must have flexible availability to work sometime between 9am-8pm Pacific Time at least three days of the week, Monday-Friday, and flexible weekend availability. -Must be able to tutor at least 4-6 hours per week 3+ years of formal tutoring experience -Experience teaching/tutoring Spanish at the college level is required. -Must be able to assist with Spanish literature reviews and analysis. We are looking for tutors with patience, excellent teaching abilities, and experience mentoring other students, and we would like to start the hiring process as soon as possible.
