Build a peer or peer app

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced iOS app developer (Swift or SwiftUI) to build an MVP for a peer-to-peer marketplace app called Rentago. The app allows users to: • Rent items from each other (user A posts a tool, user B rents it) • Buy and sell items locally (similar to Facebook Marketplace) • Post and respond to job listings (e.g. “I need my fence painted” or “I offer fence painting”) Key Features: • User accounts & profiles • Posting and browsing listings (items for rent, sale, or jobs) • In-app messaging between users (from listings) • Save/bookmark listings • Share listings (copy link or app share) • No payment gateway (users will meet and handle transactions offline) • Simple admin dashboard or backend to review/manage users and listings • Optional: Google AdMob integration or ability for me to manually insert ads My Goals: • Launch iOS version first (no Android or web yet) • Keep it simple, clean, and fast • Backend can use Firebase or Supabase — I’m open to recommendations What I Need from You: • Estimated cost to build this app (MVP only) • Estimated timeline • Tech stack you plan to use • Relevant portfolio work or previous projects • Willingness to communicate during development and offer post-launch support I’m not looking to overbuild — just want the core features to work well and be scalable later.
