Description: We are looking for a process consultant or workflow automation expert to help us standardize and streamline our order fulfillment process—encompassing both standard manufactured products and custom orders—to enhance consistency, efficiency, and customer experience. Our goal is to ensure all team members stay aligned while also exploring potential solutions for a customer-facing tracking system that provides visibility into order status. Project Goals: • Develop a standardized workflow for both standard product manufacturing and custom orders to improve efficiency and reduce inconsistencies. • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the current process. • Research and recommend tools or systems to help track each order’s progress from placement to delivery. • If feasible, propose a customer portal where clients can log in and track their order status for both standard and custom products. Current Process Steps: (For Custom Orders & Standard Manufactured Products) 1. Measurement/Specification Verification (as applicable) 2. Quote Generation (for custom or bulk orders) 3. Quote Approval & Deposit (when required) 4. Design/Engineering Review (for custom orders) 5. Design Approval (for custom orders) 6. Production/Fabrication 7. Billing 8. Quality Control/Testing 9. Shipping & Delivery Ideal Candidate: • Experience in process optimization, manufacturing workflows, or supply chain management. • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or order-tracking solutions. • Ability to recommend practical and cost-effective solutions for automation and tracking. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Deliverables: • A documented, standardized workflow to ensure efficiency and consistency across both standard and custom product orders. • Recommendations for workflow automation and customer tracking solutions (if feasible). • A roadmap for potential implementation.
