We’re seeking a talented and self-driven Mobile App Developer to build a mobile application that integrates with an existing backend built using PHP (Laravel) and Node.js. The mobile app will be developed from the ground up, with a focus on performance, clean UI/UX, and seamless integration with our current web platform. This role is ideal for someone who can take full ownership of the mobile development process—from architecture to deployment—while working closely with the existing backend and web stack. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Design and build a cross-platform mobile application (Android and iOS) that connects to an existing backend built in Laravel and Node.js. • Create clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces with a focus on usability and performance. • Develop secure API integrations with existing endpoints; collaborate with the backend team if adjustments or new endpoints are needed. • Implement mobile-specific features such as push notifications, offline storage, biometric login, and real-time updates. • Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices and standards. • Optimize the app for performance, scalability, and battery usage across devices. • Test and debug the application across multiple device types and OS versions. • Manage app deployment and updates to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. ⸻ Required Skills • 3+ years of experience in mobile app development. • Proficient in at least one cross-platform framework such as Flutter, React Native, or Ionic. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience working with Laravel and Node.js backends. • Experience with state management, authentication flows, and secure API handling. • Familiarity with app deployment processes for Android and iOS. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams. ⸻ Nice to Have • Experience integrating real-time features (e.g., chat, live updates). • Knowledge of mobile app analytics and crash reporting tools. • Familiarity with version control tools like Git. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments. • UI/UX design experience or collaboration with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
