About Us: We’re a regional commercial real‑estate trade association that sends regular event invitations, market‑insight newsletters, and sponsor spotlights to an engaged membership list. Our emails are managed through StarChapter. Core Responsibilities: - Hand‑code responsive, table‑based HTML email templates with inline CSS that render consistently across Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, dark‑mode, and major mobile clients. - Adapt or rebuild existing StarChapter templates to meet brand guidelines, inserting dynamic blocks for events, sponsors, and surveys. - Run QA tests (Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar) and provide screenshot reports; fix any client‑specific issues. - Optimize images, alt text, and fallback fonts for accessibility and fast load times. - Document template structure so non‑technical staff can easily clone and edit for future sends. Must‑Have Skills: - Demonstrable portfolio of HTML email templates (please include code samples or links). - Expert knowledge of email‑safe HTML, inline CSS, and media‑query responsiveness. - Familiarity with quirks of major desktop and mobile email clients—especially Outlook. - Ability to communicate via scheduled video calls. Bonus Points: - StarChapter Email Builder experience. - Understanding of CAN‑SPAM/GDPR compliance for member communications. - Real‑estate industry knowledge or prior work with trade associations. - Basic graphic‑editing skills (Figma, Photoshop, or Canva) for quick asset tweaks. - Chat-GPT knowledgeable
