We’re seeking a backend developer to handle API integrations and backend development for a travel app. The core functionality involves connecting to third-party APIs for travel bookings (flights, hotels) and handling payment processing securely. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure using Node.js. Integrate third-party APIs for flights and hotels (travel APIs). Set up and manage AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.). Implement secure payment gateway integration (Stripe/Airwallex). Ensure robust, scalable, and secure backend systems. Collaborate with the mobile app developer for seamless integration. Requirements: Strong experience in Node.js backend development. Proficient with AWS services and serverless architecture. Experience integrating third-party APIs (preferably travel or booking-related). Familiarity with payment gateway integrations (Stripe/Airwallex). Strong understanding of data security and privacy best practices. Preferred: Experience with travel platforms or booking engines. Knowledge of caching, performance optimization, and scaling.
