Seeking a highly detailed proofreader/copyeditor who will also supply story feedback at a fixed rate of $0.01 per word for Gothika Books publishing, specializing in dark romance, dark fantasy, and erotic horror romance novels. Please share proofreading and copyediting samples if you have them. Spice samples are a plus. Gothika Books uses "Dark Romance" as an umbrella term for a wide range of grey-to-black dark romances, including BDSM, gothic, paranormal, and horror. Applicants should have experience within this range, if not as an editor, as a reader, preferably both. Projects will have darker themes and tropes than typical romance novels, including trigger warnings, anti-hero/villain MMC with a morally grey redemption arc, highly explicit spice scenes, may include BDSM/taboo, dub-con/non-con, and may have horror-level violence. These books push boundaries. Gothika Books does not publish underage romance or romance that glorifies preying upon children or animals, whatsoever.
