Location: North Carolina & surrounding service area (day travel occasionally required) Job Type: Freelance / Project-Based Position Summary Client Construction Co. is seeking a work-for-hire freelance videographer to capture and produce professional, high-quality video content that highlights our people, operations, and work in the field. The ideal candidate is an experienced and dependable video professional with a strong eye for storytelling and the ability to work independently with light direction. This role involves filming at our plants and job sites, focusing on short-form content such as employee profiles, “day-in-the-life” features, and project showcases. Videos may be used for marketing and/or employee recruiting. It would be especially valuable if the candidate has experience filming construction or architectural projects, including capturing large-scale worksites, equipment in motion, and built environments. Key Responsibilities • Film on-site at facilities, plants, or construction locations across our service area • Capture interview footage and supporting b-roll (equipment, teams, site activity) • Manage camera, lighting, and sound equipment without requiring a large crew • Edit footage into 1–2 minute polished videos for web and internal use • Produce short-form social media cutdowns (15–90 seconds) • Apply consistent titles, transitions, and branding (guidelines provided) • Ensure professional-grade sound, pacing, and color correction • Deliver raw footage and final assets via cloud-based storage • Turn around edits typically within 5–10 business days • Incorporate stakeholder feedback and make light revisions as needed Deliverables Each project will typically include: • One edited full-length video (1–2 minutes) • Two or more short-form videos for social media • Clean audio and color-graded footage • Branded titles or overlays as needed • All video files in HD (1920x1080), optimized for web • Raw footage upon request Qualifications • Strong portfolio showcasing interview-based, on-location, or industrial video work • Experience capturing stories in construction, architectural, or manufacturing settings is highly preferred • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.) • Own or have access to high-quality camera, sound, and lighting gear • Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction • Professional communication, flexibility, and attention to deadlines • Reliable transportation to filming locations • Drone experience (optional)—please indicate if you are Part 107 certified Preferred Experience • Filming construction sites, infrastructure projects, or heavy equipment in action • Capturing architectural detail or complex environments in a visual storytelling format • Experience working with safety protocols and on industrial job sites • Motion graphics or light animation experience is a plus Work Conditions • Freelance, project-based engagement • Most filming will take place during regular business hours on weekdays • Editing can be performed remotely, with direction provided by our team • Expect 1–2 video projects per month, with potential for more
