Mechanical Design and Selection for Industrial Housings Needed

We are a manufacturer of industrial and commercial air analysis and filtration products with 30+ years of product delivery in healthcare and hazardous restoration environments. We are looking for someone to partner with us on mechanical and industrial design of a new product. Specifically, we require extremely rapid iteration and experimentation on three different housing designs as we finalize components and form factor. Deliverables will be CAD files suitable for 3d printing initially and then final CAD files and drawings suitable for sourcing. A combination of off the shelf and custom options will be considered. We would expect our partner to be able to suggest off the shelf housings that could be modified and/or custom options at reasonable cost, but more importantly quick time to market. There will be multiple housings with the key point that the housing of the actual device will “dock” into several other housings based on form factor. For example, one of the housings will be a rugged portable housing, and another would be a wall mounted dock. The device will need to easily dock and undock from these housings. These housings are all relatively small, the largest being 12” x 12” x 6” in size. Speed to market is a focus for us and thus are seeking someone who will be able to rapidly iterate with us and get us to a production selection within 6 weeks.
