3D Modeling Specialist for Outdoor Equipment Case Attachments (Pool Service Industry)

We are seeking an experienced 3D Modeling Specialist to design rugged, 3D-printable attachments for an Apache 2800 waterproof equipment case. The goal is to securely mount standard pool service tools (such as a brush and leaf net) to the exterior of the case, enabling pool service technicians to easily transport their gear. I have access to revopoint 3d scanner so I can scan the outside for this project, and inside for future milestone work. Scope of Work: Create accurate and durable 3D models compatible with Fusion 360. This is attachment for pool service technician. In this industry there are standard size mounts for pole attachments likes brushes and nets. I want to make 2 versions, female outer insert version for the male attachment or a gripper style. Design two attachment types: a secure brush holder and a versatile net clamp. Ensure attachments are easily mountable without compromising the case’s waterproof integrity. Consider outdoor conditions, including exposure to UV rays and chlorinated water. This will be a 3d printed model with ASA or other filament. Provide assembly instructions and a detailed hardware bill-of-materials. Deliverables: Fusion 360 native files (.f3d) STEP files (.step) Ready-to-print STL/3MF files PDF with exploded view and assembly instructions Hardware specification list Required Skills: Expert proficiency in Fusion 360 or equivalent parametric CAD software Strong experience designing functional parts for FDM 3D printing (especially ASA, PETG) Knowledge of mechanical design principles, hardware integration, and durability considerations Familiarity with outdoor and chemical-resistant material properties Ability to interpret 3D scans and precision measurements (calipers) Excellent communication and clear documentation skills Preferred Skills: Prior experience designing mounts, clamps, or accessories for outdoor or service-oriented products Basic FEA or structural analysis capabilities Ability to prototype-print designs to verify functionality and fit Budget: Fixed-price project: $600 - $1,100 (depending on experience, portfolio, and complexity) Timeline: Initial concept due within 5 days of project start, final deliverables within 2 weeks.
