Hotel Daylight Simulation Specialist
We are designing a LEED Silver hotel in the U.S. Could you estimate daylight simulation for (applied hours & total elapsed days) for the following: 1) Perform preliminary simulation for v4.1 Options 1 and 2. Provide results in format where you can interpret into LEED points with me. 2) Perform final simulation & complete LEED documentation where fenestration could get 0-15% smaller. The LEED v4.1 requirements are here: https://shorturl.at/F6s5Y. 3) 16-story hotel. I can provide floor plans in PDF (examples attached) and very likely in IFC (from the underlying REVIT model): Floor Plan A x 9 floors + Floor Plan B x 3 floors + Plans for 5 additional unique floors = 7 unique floor plans. Each floor plan is ~9,300 square feet. As the LEED credit describes, I would need the sDA/ASE for the total of 16 floors. I will be able to tell you which of the spaces are Regularly Occupied Spaces to be included in the daylight sim, while remaining spaces can be excluded.
