Role and Responsibilities: The Social Media Content Creator will be the face and voice of both brands across social media platforms, creating original, timely, and culturally relevant content that drives community and brand affinity and editing existing photos and videos for both brands. You’ll own the development and management of content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn—balancing personality-driven moments with polished brand storytelling. You’ll work independently to develop campaigns and content that resonate with our audience, drive engagement, and reflect our brand book, tone and values. Your email marketing skills will also be excellent, with drip campaign familiarity and eagerness, to create, optimize and support the full lifecycle: from deliverability and list health to conversion-optimized sequences for free and lead magnet newsletters. This is a hands-on, creator-first role for someone who shoots, edits, and posts regularly—and is excited to shape the social presence of a fast-growing brand from the ground up. The role also entails creating and responding to analytics and adjusting to optimize performance, especially for the opt-in newsletter on a related subject: GLP-1s for weight loss and a change in environment. Develop and produce videos for Instagram Stories, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts—including lo-fi content, IRL interviews, trend-driven moments, and voiceovers. Repurpose these in other platforms, including emailed content/newsletters, daily. Use AI to create high quality content and automate posting, read analytics, adjust, and drive content to our landing pages. Monitor performance metrics including reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Stay on top of platform updates, algorithm changes, creator trends, and emerging channels. Be the voice of our brands, learning that of Dr. La Puma's and the Farm, on all platforms, with an authentic, smart, and curious voice. Build and manage the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with campaigns, launches, and brand identity. Lead social media experiments, including testing new formats, entering new platforms, and refining our approach based on performance. Source and brief photo and video content for the Instagram grid, ensuring it’s elevated, polished, letter-perfect and brand-right. Lead day-to-day management of influencer-operations and social channels, including publishing content, community engagement, and DMs, identifying and landing podcast opportunities with the right brands. Research and recruit on-brand creators using a combination of tools, platforms, and community monitoring. Own end-to-end communication with influencers, from discovery and outreach, to contracts, content tracking, and reportingRespond, repost, comment, and meme in real time—infusing our voice into the cultural conversation. Track and surface great UGC that can be reshared or amplified across our channels. Stay plugged into online culture and trends—knowing when to jump on one, remix it, or start your own. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social-first campaigns that align with broader brand strategy. What you’ll bring: Experience in content creation and social media, either for a brand or a personal channel with real traction (over 100k followers with high engagement and reach). Strong video creation skills—comfortable shooting, editing, voiceover, and production from ideation to execution, including AI and podcast skills. You are a creator first: you shoot, edit, and post and respond on your own channels (or a brand’s) regularly. You have a strong pulse on internet culture, TikTok trends, and what makes content perform. You’re a great storyteller with sharp aesthetics—and you know when to break the rules for impact. You bring high energy, low ego and a clear creative point of view. You think in communities, not just followers—and you care deeply about how brands interact with people.
