Experienced Technical Trainer who loves teaching remote interactive software classes

Hourly: $35.00 - $55.00

The assignment will be focused on delivering training on a single topic in our proprietary software where the class will be .5 - 1 day long (3-7 hours instruction plus 1-2 hours administrative work) with most classes averaging 8 adult learners per session. Procede Software is the leading provider of Dealer Management Solutions (DMS) for the commercial trucking industry. Today, our enterprise dealer management system at Procede Software —Excede—is used by hundreds of dealerships across the United States, Canada and Australia to improve their operational efficiency and drive performance across all areas of their business. Who you are: Someone who has a true passion for training and providing the professional experience. You are patient and know how to keep a room engaged for hours. What you’ll be doing: Training customers on the Procede product suite utilizing a virtual hosted training lab and video conferencing tool Engaging and monitoring groups of adult learners in a sandbox environment where you'll explain software topics and concepts and lead participants through interactive activities Addressing client questions, concerns, and attitude challenges Providing feedback to management on attendee ability, progress, and concerns Continuing to make training relevant for each attendee Performing related Administrative tasks as needed NOTE: Training will be provided on product(s) you will be training on as well as an appropriate level of industry knowledge to support our customers (if needed) To be successful in this role, the following is essential to have... Ability to calmly and professionally respond to angry or frustrated customers via telephone or video conference A positive attitude, ability to motivate learners and establish credibility Clear and accurate communication (both verbal and written), as well as engaging presence, exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills, patience and flexibility Ability to understand and communicate technical information to technical resources and non-technical users/customers Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise within the training environment Ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgment but have an understanding to know when to escalate This position requires a minimum of: 5 years professional experience 3 years formal Training experience Knowledge of enterprise software, dealership industry, warehouse management, inventory management and/or an Accounting background
