Event Manager (Atlanta-Based, Freelance Role) One-night philanthropic event | Fall 2025 Help us raise $2 to $3 million to combat child sex trafficking. We’re seeking an experienced Atlanta-based Event Manager to help bring a major fundraising event to life this fall (September to November, exact date to be determined based on performer availability). This is a one-night, high-impact event hosted by Marici, a global nonprofit working to end child sex trafficking. We need someone local who can oversee the logistics from start to finish, including venue, catering, timeline, and vendors, to ensure everything runs smoothly. What you’ll do: -Scout and secure a venue in Atlanta -Manage catering, event layout, vendor coordination, and day-of logistics -Work closely with our internal team to align on creative and programming -Lead planning from kickoff to execution What we’re looking for: -Based in or near Atlanta -3 to 5+ years of event planning or production experience -Strong communicator, highly organized, and great under pressure -Available for in-person site visits and planning in the months leading up This is a freelance position, starting as soon as the right person is hired. The event will take place on a weekend evening in Fall 2025, with the exact date to be confirmed.
