This is a well-established company with locations all across the U.S. The company is currently operating in WordPress, but is potentially looking to migrate to Next.js or stay on WordPress per our recommendations. The redesign MUST flow in rich media and motion backgrounds. This needs to be a cutting edge design. You must share examples of your recent work that will WOW them. You also must be able to take weekly calls with the client and be able to work some U.S. hours. While there are approximately 20 static pages to work on, there are dynamic pages as well. This is a 3-6 month project and all deliverables are below. Website Redesign Overview Our organization offers high-performance experiences at various locations across the U.S. Customers participate in exclusive events at world-class venues, creating memorable experiences. We are seeking a web development and design partner to lead a comprehensive website redesign. The new site should elevate the brand, reduce checkout friction, deliver a premium mobile-first experience, and combine best practices from modern booking and e-commerce websites. A core component of this project is building a custom booking user experience using a headless Checkout API. This booking flow must live entirely on our website no redirects and be optimized for performance and conversion. The project will include composable architecture, API integrations, and a modular design system that enables continuous UX and CRO testing. Project Goals Migrate off the current CMS to a composable site architecture e.g., Next.js plus headless CMS like DatoCMS/Contentful Integrate a headless Checkout API to deliver a seamless, flexible booking flow within the website no redirects Build a mobile-first site with fast performance Core Web Vitals optimized Create a customer journey that increases perceived value and reduces abandonment Apply best practices for eCommerce PDP and landing page design to key product and location pages Support multiple customer journeys B2C booking and gifting, B2B lead generation Build a scalable design system for future AB tests and CRO iterations Explore customer profile or account functionality Deliver an immersive brand experience using motion, elevated photography, and social proof while maintaining eCommerce performance optimization Leverage the cachet and appeal of exclusive brands and experiences to pique interest without making it feel too luxurious or out of reach Scope of Work UX Research and Discovery stakeholder interviews, data review, and CX mapping Sitemap and Wireframes including customer journeys and optimized navigation UI Design high-fidelity mockups and prototypes mobile, tablet, desktop Booking UX build a custom booking experience using a new headless Checkout API browse to cart to payment Frontend Development Next.js or comparable framework, hosted on Vercel or similar Headless CMS Setup structured for scale and ease of content management DatoCMS, Contentful, or similar Ability to add, remove, update event listings, products, etc. Ability to add, update custom codes or scripts 3rd Party Integrations Checkout API Reviews solution e.g., GatherUp or alternate Email lead capture e.g., Sendlane B2B email lead capture and content e.g., Hubspot Analytics and event tracking e.g., GA4 Tag management e.g., GTM Live chat or AI chatbot integration solution needed Advertising pixel integration Meta, Google, etc. Performance Optimization Page load speed, SEO, Core Web Vitals, image optimization, etc. SEO and Redirect Planning maintain organic search performance during migration by auditing current top-performing URLs, implementing 301 redirects, preserving structured data, and ensuring SEO metadata continuity across the new CMS QA and Documentation for handoff to internal and future devs Ongoing Support post-launch UX or CRO experimentation and booking flow optimization Creative Direction The organization has extensive photography and video content available. We seek an agency with strong creative direction.
