Hi! I'm a Korean American who sadly lost a lot of the Korean language growing up and am hoping to strengthen my speaking skills. I can already read and write -- not super well, but it's not a priority for me. I'm really just looking for a Korean conversation partner who can talk with me about anything. I do know basic conversation and can understand a good amount; I just need to be pushed to speak in a completely Korean speaking environment so that I can learn. So I'm not really looking for a structured lesson -- the conversation alone (and learning vocabulary, phrases, etc through it) would be great! That said, I don't necessarily need an expert for this job, just someone who speaks both English and Korean fluently. Ideally, it would be a woman in their 20s or early 30s who resides in the US (I am a 24 year old girl!) I am also specifically hoping to work with a Korean-American individual who grew up speaking both languages as opposed to a Korean native, but I can be flexible! I am seeking one 30-40 min conversation a week for several months (may change). I would love to have conversations with someone who is patient and also likes to have fun, who isn't too strict.
