The ideal candidate will have experience in fixing website issues, improving user experience, and implementing dynamic features to make our site more engaging and functional. Tasks / milestones - Customize the home page's "Popular Categories" section to be defined by our selection rather than alphabetically, including adding arrow buttons beneath our set number of visible images to expand categories images on the home page - once into a category sections adding a small representative image at the top and adding a description area to describe the category selected. - Duplicate the search bar currently at the bottom of the page and position a copy prominently at the top for better accessibility. - Implement a toggle feature on product images allowing customers to view all images without the furniture, using the cropper image instead of the product image. - Make the category images more dynamic in size, maintaining a tidy overall appearance while allowing for variable image sizes. - on the product page at the checkout column 4 the title of the image is being displayed between the price and the add to chart - this needs be removed and ensure it doesn't come back with additional products uploads - also on the product page there is a calculation to view how many panels come with the order with a size of each panel, this calculation is wrong as we add additional 5cm to the image width the formula needs an additional 5cm adding to any input from the customer Requirements: Proven experience in front-end and back-end web development. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant platforms (e.g., WordPress, woo commerce, custom CMS). Experience with image cropping and dynamic gallery features. Ability to troubleshoot and fix website bugs efficiently. Attention to detail and a user-focused approach. Preferred Skills: Experience working on e-commerce or portfolio sites. Familiarity with responsive design and dynamic layout techniques.
