Summary below: Website Migration from Squarespace to Shopify About Us Flow Gallery is a contemporary craft gallery based in London, established 25 years ago to showcase international contemporary craft. We work closely with over 60 artists and makers, curating exhibitions with a focus on storytelling, process and material. We believe in the handmade and the personal, and we aim to reflect this ethos throughout our online presence. Our current website: https://www.flowgallery.co.uk/ Project Overview We are looking for a skilled freelance web developer to migrate our current website and online store from Squarespace to Shopify. The goal is to improve user experience, enhance our e-commerce functionality and reflect the aesthetic and ethos of our brand through a beautiful, functional Shopify website. Key Objectives • Migrate the existing website and online shop from Squarespace to Shopify • Improve site navigation and customer experience with a focus on increasing online orders • Integrate ecommerce best practices to improve user experience and encourage sales • Collaborate with us on implementing the new design template across the site (we will provide a template and some ideas but would like to work together to implement this across the new site) Website Content Requirements The new Shopify site will need to include the following sections and functionality: • Homepage • Product Catalog: ~600 products, each requiring a product page • Artist Pages: ~60 makers, each with a dedicated artist profile page • Exhibitions & Events: Pages for past, current, and upcoming exhibitions • Journal/Blog Section • Interior designer private page • About Page and standard info pages (e.g. contact, shipping, etc.) Design Requirements • We would like the new Shopify theme to be in-line with the aesthetic of our current Squarespace site, while improving usability and performance. • Freelancers should be comfortable providing input on how our preferred design direction can be best implemented in Shopify, with input from us.
