We are building a solar consumer product and are looking for an expert in NEC (National Electric Code), UL certifications (UL 1741), and residential solar systems to advise us about regulatory compliance for an upcoming project. Bonus if you are familiar with the recent Utah regulations (House Bill 340) regarding balcony solar. You're the ideal candidate if you understand regulations like UL 1741 and NEC like the back of your hand. This isn't an electrical engineering design project- it's research on your end to scope what it would take to make our product compliant (with UL and NEC and other US electrical regulations) for sale in the US and a meeting (with potential follow on later) to discuss your findings and recommendation based on your extensive prior experience with these (or similar) regulations. Share a high level strategy of what would be required to make this product/idea legal and safe to sell in the US.
