Job Title: Studio Wiring Technician – Recording Studio Setup & Troubleshooting Location: [las Vegas ] Job Type: [Freelance] Pay: Flat Rate Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced audio technician or studio wiring specialist to assess and fix all wiring issues in our recording studio. This includes organizing and rewiring equipment, ensuring clean signal paths, eliminating noise/interference, and optimizing cable management for long-term reliability and performance. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and troubleshoot existing wiring problems (ground loops, signal issues, etc.) • Rewire and reroute cables as needed for audio interfaces, mixers, monitors, outboard gear, etc. • Label and organize all cabling for future ease of use • Ensure compliance with professional studio standards • Recommend any necessary upgrades or changes Requirements: • Proven experience wiring professional or home recording studios • Strong knowledge of signal flow and audio equipment (analog and digital) • Attention to detail and clean workmanship • Ability to work on-site and bring own tools if necessary Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton • Familiarity with rackmount gear and patch bays • Understanding of acoustic treatment and layout considerations
