We’re seeking an experienced network technician or systems engineer with proven expertise in configuring Starlink internet systems for remote deployment. Our goal is to set up reliable, high-speed internet access via Starlink at a remote campsite, using a Starlink router and possibly additional networking hardware to broadcast strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout the site. Project Overview:    •   Target Location: Remote outdoor campsite in Texas (Starlink already available)    •   Equipment: Starlink terminal and router (Local Priority Subscription active – $40/mo)    •   Objective: Configure and optimize Starlink hardware to provide consistent Wi-Fi access across the site with solid coverage and performance.    •   Network needs: Primarily for staff/admin access, IoT devices (optional), and light client use (mobile, laptops). Key Responsibilities:    •   Guide or remotely support setup of the Starlink terminal and router    •   Recommend optimal router placement and orientation for signal strength    •   Configure network settings for maximum uptime and speed    •   Set up a Wi-Fi network (SSID/password) with proper security (WPA2/3)    •   Suggest and help deploy range extenders, mesh nodes, or access points if needed    •   Provide basic telemetry dashboard training or setup for network monitoring    •   Support public IP configuration (if relevant to the setup)    •   Optional: Assist in integrating IoT/camera devices into the network Requirements:    •   Proven experience with Starlink systems (must have configured at least 2–3 installations)    •   Solid networking knowledge (routing, NAT, IP management, Wi-Fi optimization)    •   Ability to troubleshoot remotely via phone, Zoom, or TeamViewer    •   Familiarity with campsite or mobile/off-grid networking is a big plus    •   Bonus if you’ve worked with mesh Wi-Fi systems (e.g., TP-Link Deco, Eero, Orbi) Deliverables:    •   Fully operational Starlink-based Wi-Fi at the site    •   Documentation on configuration and maintenance    •   Suggestions for future scalability (e.g., bandwidth management, security) To Apply: Include:    •   Examples of past Starlink setups    •   Your recommended approach for a remote campsite deployment    •   Any relevant certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.) We’re looking to move fast—this is a mission-critical need.
