Build a Mobile GPS-Based AR Treasure Hunt Game (8th Wall + A-Frame)
I'm looking for a developer to help build the first version of a mobile-only GPS-based Augmented Reality (AR) treasure hunt game using 8th Wall and A-Frame. This is not a VR project — it’s AR, meaning users will use their phone’s camera to explore the real world and see digital treasure chests placed around them. The experience should work directly in the browser with no app download required (WebAR). Users will walk around a real-world "hotspot" area, and when they get close enough to a digital chest, they can tap on it through the AR view to collect it. Collected chests give rewards and update simple counters/stats. This is the foundation of a larger game project, so clean architecture and accurate AR/GPS interaction are important.
