I’m looking for an experienced Squarespace designer/developer to help build a new website on Squarespace to support my growing educational platform. My current site is hosted on Weebly and includes five simple pages. I’m now expanding the scope of the site to include five new pillar pages that are content-rich and optimized for SEO, with clear internal navigation and educational value. Perhaps with a cluster page or two. I understand that moving from Weebly to Squarespace is not a traditional migration, so I’m looking for a professional who can guide the rebuild and offer smart solutions to retain and enhance my content in the new structure. Project Requirements: Design and build a new Squarespace 7.1 website Recreate and improve my existing five basic pages Add five new, content-rich pillar pages with anchor links and logical site flow Build a site that supports educational content, blog-style updates, and internal linking Ensure mobile responsiveness and user-friendly navigation Provide basic SEO support (metadata, heading structure, alt tags) Integrate contact forms and newsletter signup Add the ability for visitors to schedule and purchase consultations through the site (using Squarespace Scheduling or another suitable tool) Ongoing Support & Education: I’m also looking for: A written outline or checklist for the full process of moving from Weebly to Squarespace Basic guidance and education so I can manage and update the site myself going forward (adding pages, editing blog posts, updating media, etc.) Ideal Candidate: Proven experience building Squarespace 7.1 websites Strong design skills with a focus on clean layouts and content organization Familiarity with educational or health-related websites is a plus Can communicate clearly and explain Squarespace tools in user-friendly language Bonus: experience with SEO, accessibility, or Squarespace Scheduling Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): I welcome applicants from all backgrounds, but for the sake of alignment with the tone and audience of this educational site, I would especially welcome: Freelancers based in the United States Women-owned businesses or woman-identifying freelancers This is not a requirement, but a preference based on the nature of the content and the audience I serve.
