JOB OVERVIEW: We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic free-lance student / graduate -level Photographer/Videographer to join our team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate in photography, videography, or a related field who is eager to gain hands-on experience. The successful candidate will assist in producing high-quality images and videos for our social media platforms, helping to enhance our online presence and engage our audience. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Content Creation: o Capture high-quality images and videos for social media platforms (focus on Instagram) o Assist in the planning and execution of photoshoots and video shoots, ensuring all visual content aligns with our brand identity. 2. Editing: o Edit photos and videos using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or other relevant tools. o Ensure all content is polished, professional, and ready for publication. 3. Social Media Support: o Assist in brainstorming and developing creative ideas for social media campaigns. o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, photography, and videography. 4. Organization and Management: o Organize and maintain a digital library of images and videos. o Ensure all equipment is used and stored properly, reporting any maintenance needs. The role requires your own equipment. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Educational Background: o Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a photography, videography, visual arts, or related program. • Technical Skills: o Proficient in using DSLR or mirrorless cameras. o Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and other relevant software, e.g. Canva. o Understanding of lighting, composition, and color theory. • Creative Skills: o Strong eye for detail and composition. o Ability to generate creative ideas and bring them to life through photography and videography. • Soft Skills: o Excellent communication and teamwork skills. o Ability to take direction and constructive feedback. o Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience: o Previous experience in photography or videography projects (academic or personal) is preferred. o Experience with social media platforms and understanding of their content requirements. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • A portfolio of previous photography and videography work (can include school projects or personal work). • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings for special events. • The main hours required are: o Once every week or once every 2 weeks for 2 hours for onsite location shootings (these will mostly take place in Central London or West London locations) o Additional meeting (virtual) for 1hour every week or every other week expected to discuss and prepare upcoming projects.
