Casting Call for 'HBD, i hope ur nightmares come tru', a comedy short film about a 20-something year old desperate to present a high-concept birthday gift to his stressed out roommate. VINICIUS (mid-20s) A passionate-to-a-fault creative who loves culinary and thinking outside the box. He’s a problem solver who is very talented at recognizing problems that people around him deal with, and uses that to come up with thoughtful, but often times outrageous ideas to help them. He always looks out for his years-long roommate Kylie, but his “big picture” mentality sometimes conflicts with her more practical mindset. Required Media for submission: Headshot/Photo, Video Reel Audition Requests: Zoom (TBD) This is a non-union, independent low-budget short to be shot in the Seattle-area July 2025. Two day weekend/overnight shoot (Sat-Sun). Must be available for table read and at least one rehearsal before shoot, location/date TBD. Director Bio: Deams Fitzgerald is a filmmaker/photographer based in Washington (state). Since graduating from NYU with a BFA in Film/TV Production, he now produces visual content for his website, 046VSN, and helps clients in many industries with videography and editing services.
