ADA Compliance & Accessibility Expert Needed for WordPress Websites (Including Government Sites)

I’m a web designer with a portfolio of WordPress websites, mostly using custom themes that need to be updated to meet ADA and WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance standards before the April 2026 deadline. Several of these sites are for local government clients and must be fully accessible by then. I'm looking for an experienced accessibility specialist who can: - Audit existing sites for compliance issues - Make direct remediations, including editing theme code if needed - Document remediation (PDF, Forms, Word) - Provide documentation or reports - Offer ongoing accessibility solutions - Consult and guide on best practices for long-term compliance Requirements: - Proven experience with Web Accessibility WCAG 2.2 AA American Disability Act (ADA) / Section 508 - Strong WordPress skills, especially working with custom themes and editing theme code - Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., WAVE, AXE, Lighthouse, Accessibility Checker) - Ability to work with modest budgets - Clear communication and ability to advise on best practices Bonus if you’re available for ongoing consulting or support across multiple projects.
