**Job Description:** We’re looking for a freelancer or independent contractor to help us launch a children’s fitness gym in Lathrop, CA. This is a project-based role perfect for someone with experience in opening fitness spaces, designing kid-friendly programs, and setting up operations from scratch. If you’re a certified personal trainer with a strong background in youth fitness and nutrition—and you love creating structure, routines, and systems—this is your chance to build something meaningful from the ground up. Scope of Work This is a short-term contract focused on launch planning and execution, including: Designing age-appropriate group fitness programs (ages 4–12) Creating basic nutrition education or resource templates for families Advising on equipment selection and gym layout for safety and flow Developing inclusive options for neurodiverse children Drafting sample class schedules and policies Assisting with marketing strategy and pre-launch promotions Offering input on registration systems, parent communications, and operational workflows Ideal Qualifications Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, etc.) Experience designing or launching youth fitness programs Familiarity with child nutrition and wellness best practices Understanding of inclusive/adaptive training for neurodiverse kids (a plus) Strong communication, organization, and planning skills Experience with gym startups, wellness centers, or family-focused fitness spaces Project Details
