Design Brief: Freelance Content Creator – Video Production & Editing for Social Media Client: Spice Kitchen Contact: Sanjay Aggarwal Location: Primarily Liverpool / Widnes – home kitchen, production unit, and occasional external shoots Start Date: ASAP Project Type: Freelance / Ongoing project-based Project Overview We’re looking for a talented freelance content creator to help bring the Spice Kitchen story to life through video. This is a unique opportunity to capture authentic moments of cooking, storytelling, and spice magic—with content that features Sanjay, his mum Shashi, and the wider team behind the scenes at our Liverpool production unit. We’re launching new content channels on TikTok and YouTube, and want to produce regular, high-quality videos that celebrate our spices, showcase recipes, and share what makes our family business so special. Scope of Work Filming content featuring Sanjay cooking, talking spice blends, and sharing stories Capturing Shashi (Mum) in cooking segments or storytelling—warm, engaging, natural tone Behind-the-scenes shoots at our Liverpool unit (packing, team, sari-wrapping, daily life) Potential external location shoots for events, food markets, or partner visits Shooting in portrait and landscape for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and long-form YouTube Editing all footage for different platforms, adding captions, transitions, music, brand styling Batching content monthly or bi-weekly, with flexible collaboration on storyboarding and ideas Deliverables 4–8 short-form videos (15–60 sec) per month for TikTok, Instagram Reels & Shorts 1–2 longer-form videos (3–10 mins) per month for YouTube – e.g. full recipes, interviews, spice stories Stills, thumbnails, or teaser edits for use in posts and banners Guidance or support with platform-specific formatting if needed Tone & Style Warm, human, and relatable – think family kitchen meets premium spice knowledge Natural and spontaneous moments, balanced with polished edits A documentary-meets-lifestyle feel: friendly but not overproduced Rooted in culture, craft, and food storytelling Ideal Creator Skilled in videography and editing, ideally with experience in food or lifestyle content Confident filming with natural light, small spaces, and family-style settings Familiar with the creative demands of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Passionate about storytelling and/or food culture Able to work flexibly across locations (primarily Liverpool) Budget & Next Steps Please send us: Your day rate or project-based quote Links to your portfolio, TikTok/Reel/YouTube work Availability for a quick chat and trial shoot We’re excited to build an ongoing relationship and co-create something special.
