Shopify CRO & UX/UI Specialist (Freelance) We’re looking for an expert Shopify CRO specialist to audit redesign and optimize our store with the goal of improving our conversion rate from the current ~4% to 6–8%. You must be fluent in GemPages (our current page builder) and able to create modular high-converting no-code templates for our eCommerce team to manage easily post-build. Increase Shopify CVR from 4% to 6-8% across all Shopify markets (Singapore & UAE) single hero product page 2. Mobile Optimised PDPs and landing pages (8% mobile conversion rates) Mobile users typically make up 70% of traffic this must be a core CRO focus. 3. Bounce Rate Reduction: Target: Reduce bounce rate on PDPs and landing pages by 20–30%. 4. Average Session Duration & Scroll Depth: Target: Increase average session duration by 15–30%. Use Hotjar/Lucky Orange to improve content engagement and readability. 5. Add-to-Cart Rate (ATC%): Target: Improve ATC rate on optimized pages by at least 20–40%. Reflects stronger intent and effective product messaging/UX. 6. Page Load Speed (Mobile & Desktop): Target: Maintain page speed score above 70+ (mobile) on Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix. Faster pages = better UX and higher conversion. 7. Documentation & Handoff Quality: Target: Deliver a clear step-by-step guide on how to edit reuse or customize each modular section. Include Loom videos or Notion documentation for internal training. Empower our internal eCommerce team to manage and edit pages without devs Key Responsibilities: - Conduct a CRO audit of our current Shopify store including PDPs PLPs and funnel. - Analyze heatmaps scroll depth bounce rates and session recordings using tools like Hotjar or Lucky Orange. - Design and build high-converting pages (esp. PDPs & landing pages) using GemPages with a clear focus on: - Mobile-first optimization - Clean UX/UI aligned with DTC best practices - Fast page speed - Create modular reusable sections for easy drag-and-drop editing by our internal non-tech team. - Run weekly A/B tests / implement simple CRO experiments & changes to be made - Recommend or set up analytics tracking and performance dashboards (GA4 Meta pixel post-purchase surveys etc.) - Collaborate with our internal eCommerce manager to ensure handover is seamless and maintainable without developer input. Must-Have Skills: - Shopify CRO & UX experience (with proven 6–8%+ CVR case studies) -Proficiency in GemPages or similar Shopify builders - No-code development mindset (design-to-launch without coding) - Strong understanding of DTC eCommerce & shopper psychology - Tools: Hotjar GA4 Shopify Analytics A/B testing tools - Clean conversion-first design sensibility - Able to deliver and document easy-to-edit modular templates Bonus (Nice-to-Have): - Experience with laundry home care or FMCG eCommerce stores - Strong communication and ability to educate non-tech stakeholders How to Apply: Please share: - Your top 2–3 Shopify/GemPages CRO case studies - Before/after screenshots and performance metrics (if available) - Website links of past CRO optimisation projects / modular sections or no-code Shopify builds you’ve created - Your rate and typical turnaround time for projects of this nature
