Seeking Software Engineering Advisor for High-Velocity Product Development Insights

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader or fractional CTO to provide high-level advisory discussions on building a high-velocity product and engineering organization. This is an opportunity to share insights and best practices with our founder and managing partner, who is actively seeking expert perspectives on structuring, scaling, and optimizing an engineering team. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a senior-level engineering leader, fractional CTO, or experienced product development executive who has: - Built and led high-performance engineering teams (especially in startups or fast-growing companies). - Experience with organizational design, team scaling, and process optimization for engineering and product development. - A deep understanding of how to balance speed, quality, and execution in engineering teams. - The ability to provide practical, strategic insights in a discussion format (not hands-on execution). SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT: One or multiple 60-minute advisory calls with our founder to discuss key challenges and strategies. No ongoing execution required—purely strategic advisory and knowledge sharing. Potential for future check-ins or ongoing advisory support if there's mutual interest. IDEAL BACKGROUND: - Former VP of Engineering, CTO, or Head of Product Development. - Experience scaling engineering teams at a startup or fast-growing organization. - Deep expertise in agile processes, hiring, and fostering high-velocity development teams. - Familiarity with SaaS, data modeling, or analytics platforms is a plus but not required.
