Project Overview: This is a front-end only development project focused on building a pixel-perfect, fully responsive website using Next.js, seamlessly integrated with a Magento backend via GraphQL APIs. The Magento backend is already deployed and will be fully accessible throughout development. Requirements & Scope of Work : ------------------------------------ -The Next.js frontend developer will be responsible for: -Converting the provided Figma design into a responsive Next.js website optimized for desktop and mobile. Adhering to the structure and UX of the original theme, while integrating the new customized design assets. -Ensuring complete SEO setup and optimization across the site. -Implementing multi-language support, including Right-to-Left (RTL) compatibility, as enabled by the theme. Provided by Us: ------------------ 1) Magento Backend & API Access The Magento backend developer will provide both default and custom GraphQL APIs, documented through Swagger and Postman for easy testing and reference. Ongoing backend support will be available for API clarification and issue resolution. Swagger URL: will be shared with qualified applicants after passing the screening process. 2) Figma Design A finalized and approved Figma design will be shared for both desktop and mobile views. Figma Design URL: will be shared with qualified applicants after passing the screening process. 3) Next.js Theme Reference Complete theme source files will be provided as a foundation. The core layout structure will be maintained, but icons, images, and color schemes will be updated to reflect the new visual identity. Next Js Theme File URL: will be shared with qualified applicants after passing the screening process. 4) Product Management: Documentation, Testing & Communication A complete functional specification document will be provided, covering all key workflows including product management. Also regular communication through daily and weekly meetings will ensure alignment, feedback, testing and progress tracking. Customer Portal Product Description URL: will be shared with qualified applicants after passing the screening process. 5) Deployment & Infrastructure Support System administrators will be available across day and night shifts to assist with: Deployment, Code merging, Development server configuration, GitHub and Bitbucket will be used for source control and version management. Final Testing & Optimization Comprehensive QA, bug resolution, SEO audits, and performance tuning Duration: 3 Weeks Required Skills ------------------ -Frontend Development Strong proficiency in Next.js and React.js for modern, server-rendered and statically generated websites. Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks. Experience with responsive design and cross-device compatibility (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile). Ability to translate Figma/Sketch/XD designs into clean, semantic code with pixel accuracy. -Magento Integration Familiarity with Magento data structures, particularly product catalogs, CMS pages, customer accounts, and checkout workflows. Practical experience consuming Magento GraphQL APIs (both default and custom endpoints). Implementing multi-language websites with Right-to-Left (RTL) support. -API & Tools Working with GraphQL (queries, mutations, fragments). Familiarity with Postman, Swagger UI, and related API testing tools. Git based version control (GitHub, Bitbucket) and CI/CD workflows. -SEO & Performance Knowledge of technical SEO in Next.js: metadata setup, schema.org, dynamic sitemap generation, etc. Experience with Next.js image optimization, code-splitting, and Lighthouse performance tuning. -Collaboration & Communication Experience working in agile environments with daily standups, sprint planning, and weekly reviews. Proactive communication with cross-functional teams: designers, backend developers, system administrators, and product managers. Preferred Working History / Experience -------------------------------------------- 3+ years experience in frontend development, including at least 1–2 major projects using Next.js. Experience building eCommerce frontends connected to Magento (v2+) backends. Delivered multi-language web applications with RTL support in production. Participated in collaborative projects with distributed teams across time zones. Successfully completed pixel-perfect conversions from Figma or similar tools. Prior experience integrating complex APIs, conducting QA testing, and supporting production deployment cycles. Working Hours ----------------- Development hours: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM GMT While developers may work outside these hours, please note: • Code deployment is restricted to the availability of the system administrator • Key personnel such as the UI/UX designer, testers, integrators, product managers, and other stakeholders will not be available for meetings or support Ongoing Support --------------------- Subject to successful delivery and collaboration, extended support and maintenance services can be arranged. These may be offered on a fixed-fee or hourly basis, with additional charges for continued feature updates and assistance.
