I’m reaching out from Seed St. Louis, a nonprofit that supports community and school gardens and growing food in the region. We're looking for a videographer to help us create a ~4-minute video that highlights the breadth of our work—school and community gardens, orchards, and free public educational events and classes. We’d also like the video to be cut into 30–60 second clips for social media. The video will include interviews with 3–4 individuals and end with a call to action and a link to our website. We have several upcoming filming opportunities and are wondering about your availability for the following: June 5 – Brittany Woods Middle School (8125 Groby Rd) | 10–11 am June 6 – International Farm (4060 Folsom Ave) | 9–10 am June 10 – Bell Community Garden (3871 Bell Ave) | 10–11 am June 14 – Wash U/Kemper Art Museum (1 Brookings Dr) | 2–3 pm June 21 – Tour De Plants Bike Tour (Starts at 3150 Sublette Ave) | 9-10 am We’re hoping to wrap up the final edit by mid-July. A few questions for you: What is your rate for a project like this? Is your rate inclusive of editing? How much time do you typically spend on editing? How many rounds of edits are included? Would we be able to access the raw footage for future use? Would you be open to a discount if we credit you or allow portfolio use? The creative direction we’re envisioning for Seed STL’s campaign—a powerful, heartwarming narrative that not only inspires donors but also highlights the core of our mission. Specifically, the videos should center around Seed STL’s primary pillars: Food Access, Access to Green Space, Healthy Eating and Nutrition, and Engaging Community.
